OMHS Community Benefit
Community Benefit Grant Program
When it comes to health improvement, one size doesn't fit all; a single organization can't meet every health need. Through our Community Benefit program, we seek to form partnerships to reduce identifiable health risks in a number of areas. One way we partner is by providing funds to organizations through our Community Benefit grant program. Learn more and apply.
Community Involvement
OMHS employees are dedicated to improving our community. Our commitment to a healthier community includes:
- Charity Care – In 2011, the cost of uncompensated care at OMHS exceeded $29 million.
- McAuley Clinic – Providing healthcare to those who cannot afford it.
- School Health Partnership – Educating children about healthcare.
- Grant Program – Donating time and financial resources to benefit our community.
Community Engagement
At OMHS, we understand that some of the best ideas to improve healthcare often come from the people we serve. That's why we encourage active community engagement by hosting forums, key stakeholder meetings, and other civic events. These events are opportunities to listen to our community and strengthen relationships that produce better healthcare for everyone. We take our ties to the community seriously, because it takes all of us working together to build a healthier region.
