Volunteers Make OMHS a Better Place...

Volunteer Services has a simple purpose: to support the mission and goals of Owensboro Medical Health System. Fulfilling that mission is not so simple.

We rely on hundreds of people, just like you, to do a number of important jobs at OMHS: 

• From staffing the patient information desk, to delivering flowers, to playing a crucial role as liaison between families and the medical staff in our surgery waiting areas.  Volunteers are an essential part of the care and comfort OMHS provides.

If your life has been touched by OMHS, and you want to learn more about volunteer programs, we have opportunities for:

Did you know...

• In 2007, over 350 volunteers donated close to 90,000 hours of work to support the patients, families and staff of OMHS.

• We need 45 volunteers each day to staff Volunteer Services programs.
