What we offer

Team support
As a surg tech at OMHS, you'll spend most of your time on one of seven specialty teams:
- Vascular
- General
- Orthopaedics
- Neurosurgery
- Heart
- Urology
- ENT (ears, nose and throat)
Your teammates--the surgeons, the nurses, the assistants--will come to rely on the skills and expertise you develop on the job. But you must be ready; you could be needed by another team at any time.
Meetings
Surg techs participate regularly in team meetings to discuss the cases ahead. Unit meetings also keep the department well informed about what is happening at OMHS.
Trainings
OMHS offers quarterly educational sessions to equip you with the latest skills, information and surgical technology. Count on growing at OMHS.
