Why I love being a surgical technologist

I love the satisfaction that I get in knowing I had a hands-on role in the improvement of another human being's life.
It's always a challenge to stay caught up with the new technologies of the medical field. It keeps me on my toes and always learning new skills.
The relationships you develop with the OR team are also amazing. I couldn't do my job sufficiently if it weren't for my co-workers. The surgeons are also very welcoming. They are very eager to share with me their knowledge.
