A Welcome From The Director

The mission of Owensboro Medical Health System is to “Heal the sick and improve the health of our community.” It was on this very belief that the Wound Healing Center was developed.

Our community has a high incidence of diabetes and cardiovascular disease, which leads to an even greater number of patients with chronic wounds. The OMHS Wound Healing Center is proud to have some of the highest healing rates (93%) in the nation. We are proud to provide an uncompromising level of service to our community and improve the quality of life for our patients. 

We would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to join us at our Open House on June 28. This event will be a wonderful opportunity for you to meet our expert team of physicians, nurses and support staff, and see our first rate facility for yourself.
